I strongly recommend this app for people who prefer seeing things in a different way - it is really fun to watch the programm building 3D shapes using your own pictures as brickstones. I already enjoyed the screen saver but as the sreensaver interrupts when pressing any key or moving the mouse you can now click on a picture you would like to see and the program gives you a big view of this picture with interrupting the background process....and every day I find a few pictures (of about 7.500) that I had almost forgotten. ...und noch kurz für die deutschsprachigen user: ein wunderschönes Programm, das die eigene Photobibliothek zum Zusammensetzen von 3D-Grafiken benutzt - wirklich witzig und unterhaltend: man entdeckt auf diese Weise Bilder wieder, die man schon lange vergessen hatte.

I have no practical use for this app however it is brilliant for what it does. It is beautiful, trippy, a nice diversion. My wife thinks its clever and thats praise from on high since computers are more of a pain in her eyes. Aesthetically pleasing and a bit of fun as a time waster. (Screen shots are great but I watched the demo on the developers site before buying.)

I love this app, keeps my son quiet for a long time. I am wondering, however, if you can add the option for the flying photos to write the name of a person, corporation.. etc., in the same way it writes the word 3D or draw the arms of a clock.

Moving Photos lives up to its name. It supports multiple monitors and performs well on my MacBook Pro. Note that it handles images with transparency-- which create some very cool effects. Its stable, efficient, and does its thing well. Recommended.

This would get 5 stars if it were intergrated within the OS X screen saver system, not crazy about having to launch it as a seperate progarm with no time settings or such. However it does what it does beautifully and with great flexibility as to the photos you want to use. A few tweaks and it will be worth the $5.99 I paid.

Ive used the screen saver version for 6 months and it still blows me away. Seeing a random selection of dozens of my photos from the last 8 years floating by really brings back the memories, including things I had almost forgotten about! It also continually swaps out photos as it runs. When I first installed it, I was so mesmerized that I watched it for an hour. My kids love seeing it spell out their names using their own pictures. The screen saver version is still only available on the developers website for $9. Perhaps Apple considers screen savers to not be "apps" and hence wont let them be sold in the app store? Even though I already own the screen saver, I bought the app as well. Its really that good! Ive always wanted to be able to click a photo in the screen saver to zoom in on it, but of course that just cancels the screen saver. This is now supported in the app version, which is why I bought it. Its worth every penny. Make sure to set the preferences to point to your iPhoto, Aperture or other library and run it in full screen mode. While it can show any type of pictures, for me the beauty is in seeing my own. Its like getting a different tour of my life every day.

Right off want to say MovingPhotos3D is a work of inspired genius. Ive hated screen savers forever no matter how beautiful -- but the screensaver version totally captivated me over the past month. Its continues to fascinate everyday as inspirational mind food & just bought the Mac App version.-- One word -- Wondrous!

I love what this app does. Now if I could export it....that would be the best.

This app and its companion screensaver offer fun and hypnotic visualizations of photos. Plusses for me are that it will display RAW files without complaining, and it doesnt get bogged down even though its source folder has fifteen thousand images in it.

Tremendous and definitely a Keeper. Creative Genius at its finest hour. Great fun and very relaxing to watch.

This is a great app. I wish is was actually a screensaver (then it would be 5 stars) so I wouldnt have to open it but it is worth the sale price at least.

After buying, from your screen saver settings, click browse screen savers and ad the MovingPhotos screen saver app free. Very cool app!

This is a wonderful app that works flawlessly and easily, and imparts a true sense of wonder with every one of its seemingly limitless iterations. Bravo. I hope full slide show functionality will follow.

This program works as advertised and creates an intoxicating view of your favorite photos. The ability to write your own text with photos is a really clever addition! Go to the developers site to get the screensaver. It works fine as a free addition with the licensed copy from the Mac App Store.

I downloaded the free version and thought it was amazing. It was so cool that I downloaded the paid version just because the person who wrote this app deserves to make a few bucks. Kepp up the good work ! Bill

I download the free version and I was happy about it. But just to reward the person who created this amazing application, I decided to get the paid version.

I had the free version for quite a while and really enjoyed it. I am very happy with the paid version now too. Many thanks to the developers on this app! I love to see my own photos flying about the screen and then forming up a structure!

I smile every time I use this app -- watching all my favorite photos flying around on the screen. Way better than a vente mocha latte at Starbucks for about the same price. Thanks David for a great app!
